GravityWise Installation Guide

Base Installation

  1. Install Gravity Forms.
  2. Navigate to Plugins->Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin.
  4. Browse for the downloaded Zip file.
  5. Click Install Now.
  6. Navigate to Plugins->Installed Plugins.
  7. Locate the ConnectWise Gravity Forms WordPress Plugin.
  8. Click Activate.

Generating an API Member

  1. Log in to your ConnectWise installation.
  2. In ConnectWise, click your profile icon then “My Account.”
  3. Click on the “API Keys” tab.
  4. Click the plus icon to add a new API key.
  5. Add a short description to the key.
  6. Click “Save.”
  7. Copy the public and private keys to a text file. Once you leave this screen, the private key will no longer be available.


  1. Navigate to Forms->Settings.
  2. Within Settings, Navigate to GravityWise Add-On.
  3. In the Company ID field, enter in your company identifier (used when logging into ConnectWise.)
  4. In the ConnectWise site field, enter the URL to your ConnectWise installation.
  5. If you wish to use your Client ID, enter it now; otherwise, GravityWise handles it automatically.
  6. Next, enter the public and private keys you saved from Step 7 of “Generating an API Member.”
  7. Enter in the Company ID and name that you would like to use as a catchall. GravityWise uses the catchall company for any records that require a company but don’t have one assigned.
  8. Select your time zone.
  9. Select an API version. Usually, the latest is preferable.
  10. Select a data retention policy to clean up old data from your WordPress Installation.
  11. Save the settings.
